Our dogs at work | AlpineK9

The work is part of the individual story.

Hans’s original collections describe dogs in family homes, patrol and detection work, and other working roles. The accounts below are historical records supplied by Hans and dog owners. They describe those individual dogs.

Enrique: patrol and detection.

An owner letter from a South Tucson police handler describes Enrique working in patrol and as a certified narcotics detector. The letter thanks Hans for matching the request with the dog.

Blaku: a hospital partner.

The original course archive includes a newspaper account of Blaku, a Phoenix hospital security dog, and his handler. The story follows their work together and Blaku’s move to a family home at retirement.

Aiko: remembered by Hans.

Hans’s working-dog page remembers Aiko, the canine partner of Paul Corso. The record includes their photograph and Hans’s tribute after Aiko’s death in December 2010.
